Clink from Edmond Oklahoma, where it is a peaceful yet spicy 79 degrees already. We have enjoyed an amazing time with our beautiful host Peggy Kates ๐. I am so grateful for our Kates family roots, stories and long Family history together, ๐ them.. The mug in this picture was taken yesterday as we visited the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum. I was not prepared for the emotion of it all. My eyes filled with tears and my heart overwhelmed by the faith, resolve and compassion of so many. Bravely and intentionally they chose to confront and overthrow such evil and hatred with pure Love for each other.. Story after story of helping hands and hearts determined to heal and rebuild from this destructive chapter in their story, Oklahoma strong ๐ช. This cup survived but so many were broken and shattered below it, seeing and hearing it all left my heart shaken and shattered too for all of them. There is a verse in the book of Esther in the 4th chapter. We do not know but yet we were born for a time such as this. That day that very moment at 9: 03 when the truck exploded in front of the Federal building, men determined to destroy lives thought they had the victory. Oh but God had a plan and had prepared in advance his people to step up and step in to bring help and resources to the hurting that day. The memorial is extraordinary, a reminder for me that hatred seemingly benign but seeded in our hearts will always bring destruction to our souls. I pray everyone finds a way to heal from your pain, that we remind ourselves that life is short, and in the blink of an eye or a tick on the clock ๐ฐ it will forever be changed.. Choose to live a life that matters.. YM-YOU MATTER .. but so do others .. ๐ more, hate less ๐ฅฐ.. it matters
